As the Mexican Hass avocado company La Casa del Aguacate continues to improve its presence in the United States, the team grows based in different strategic points of the country in order to deliver top-quality client service and product delivery.
“The main reason of moving our sales and marketing office to the U.S. is to be closer to our clients, making sure personally that the final steps of the transactions are accomplished in the best and fastest possible way ” said Arturo Larios, CEO at La Casa del Aguacate/House of Avocado.
The Larios family brings decades of Avocado experience to the industry with two state-of-the-art packing houses in Mexico (Michoacán and Nayarit) and exporting premium Hass Mexican avocados to Europe, Asia and, most recently, the United States.
“One of our biggest challenges while working to position the brand worldwide has been to keep the consistency and close relation with our clients, which is why we decided that Arturo would move to California and grow a highly qualified team to make it happen,” said Alejandro Larios, COO at La Casa del Aguacate/House of Avocado
The growth is focused on the U.S. in 2019 with the expansion of a sales and marketing office in Westlake Village, CA ,and cold storage/ripening facilities in McAllen, TX, becoming a vertically integrated, proven packer and shipper with year-round availability.
La Casa del Aguacate/House of Avocado has elevated their go-to market capabilities by being able to offer 52-week conventional and organic programs in bulk and bag packaging with all food-safety certifications delivered in company owned trucks to the U.S. The advantage in being vertically integrated from company owned facilities allows CDA to promote and program with key account customers year-round.
“CDA believes this new supply dynamic allows customers greater security in food safety and quality control while allowing for greater partnership on pricing and promotions,” said Rick Johnston, vice presidnet of sales at La Casa del Aguacate/House of Avocado.
